C. L. YOUNG will Probated March Term 1880 Minute Book "C" page 57 State of Tennessee Crockett Co. I C. L. YOUNG being of sound mind and good memory do make publish and declair this my last will and testament... I give to my wife all of my property of a personal nature that is exempt from execution by the laws of Tennessee and the remainder of my personalty shall pass into the hands of my Executor and be sold by him, and he may take charge of my entire crop of strawberries and have the fruit gathered boxed and shipped to market in the usual way and have them sold in the usual way as he may deem best and after paying all the necessary expenses of marketing said strawberries he shall pay to WM. YOUNG a debt of thirty dollars due by note for rent on land on which some of said strawberries are growing... also to pay a note that I owe H. A. WELCH of about Eighty Five Dollars and a note that I owe J. HALL of about One Hundred and Thirty Five Dollars. J. HALL note to be paid first and the remainder (if any)... shall be applied to the payment of any and all monies that I may owe to the Heirs of A. L. C. YOUNG dec'd as settlement as his administrator. I desire that my beloved wife shall have a homestead on my land during her natural life and at her death the same to revert back to my heirs at law... (following is a detailed description of the land, the land borders on the property of WM. YOUNG, JOHN MEDLIN, AND J. K. WEBLE?) Executor: my brother, W. T. C. YOUNG ...
