Will of Mathew Williams - Dated 17 Feb 1909

Know all men by these presents that I, MATHEW WILLIAMS of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee, farmer, considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and memory, declare this my last Will and Testament.

1st I give and bequeath to my two daughters ANNIE and ADELAIDE and my son GRAY Jointly the use improvements and income of my dwelling house, out houses, lands and their appertenances situated in Crockett Co. State of Tenn., to have and to hold the same to them, for and during their natural lives.

2nd I give and bequeath to my two daughters ANNIE and ADELAIDE and my son GRAY all the residue of my estate personal or mixed of which I shall die possessed or seized, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, to have and to hold the same to them and their executors and administrators and assigns forever.

3rd I give and bequeath to my Grandsons NOAH RICHARDS and WILLIAM RICHARDS Fifty dollars each, to be paid to them by my executor hereinafter named within Six months after my decease.

(4) I give and bequeath to my Grandson THURMAN WILLIAMS and my Grand daughter OLIVE WILLIAMS Fifty dollars each to be paid to them by my executor hereinafter named within Six months after my decease.

(5) I give and bequeath all the remainder of my money at my decease to my two daughters ANNIE and ADELAIDE and my son GRAY to be paid to them by my executor hereinafter named within six months of my decease.

I do nominate and appoint J. A. BEDWELL to be the executor of this my last Will and Testament. In Testimony whereof I have this day subscribed my name and set my seal.
