Will of J. G. Watkins - Probated April Term 1897

I, J. G. WATKINS do make and publish this my last Will and testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time made.

First, I give and bequeath to the Bank of Crockett in trust for my three daughters PEARL, SADIE and INEZ all the money which may be realized on two policies on Insurance on my life � one of said policies is in the Endowment Bank Knights of Pythias for five Thousand dollars and the other is in the Mutual Reserve Life Association for three thousand dollars, Said money so realized, I desire to be shared equally by my said three children. I desire and direct that said money be used for the support, Education and proper maintainance of said children as herein described. That is to say that said Trust will pay monthly, to my wife ADA M. WATKINS during the minority of said children a sum sufficient to pay the board, tuition, and other necessary Expenses of said children, but not to exceed at any time twenty dollars per month for each of said children. A Separate account is to be kept by said trustee with each of said children, and each monthly payment is to be made simply to meet the actual expenses of each child, within the limit heretofore stated. Should my wife die during the minority of any of said children, then in that case, the trustee will make the said monthly payments for the support of such minor to her Guardian. As said children become twenty one years of age or marry the trustee will turn over to such child its portion of the funds remaining, as belongs to her.

I expressly enjoin upon my wife, who will keep said children with her, that out of the monthly payments made to her for the support of said children, She will at all events, Educate our children.

Second As to any other property real, personal or mixed, of which I may die the owner, I give and bequeath to my wife ADA M. WATKINS. I nominate the Bank of Crockett as Executor of this my last will and testament. (no date)
