Will of A. J. Tucker, Jr. probated December term 1911. See M.B. "9" page 362 I, A. J. TUCKER, JR. do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all others by me at any time made. First. I direct that my funeral expenses and indebtedness be paid as soon as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors. Secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved wife EDNA A. TUCKER during her natural life or so long as she remains my widow, all of my property both personal and real, which I may die seized and possessed of, and at the death or in the event of my wife marrying again, said realestate to go to my four children Viz: JAMES H. TUCKER, R. L. TUCKER, E. W. TUCKER, and ANDREW J. TUCKER, JR. share and share alike during their natural lives, and at their death to their bodily heirs, in the event any of my said children should die without issue their share to revert back to my other heirs. My realestate situated in the 14th Civil District of Crockett County Tennessee, consisting of about two hundred acres of land, is incumbered by a deed of trust, in favor of ROBERTSON, and HAMLETT, for about $2000.00 and being desireous, of paying off and clearing said incumberances in order to save said realestate or so much thereof as possible for my wife and children, I hereby direct that the money collected on a One Thousand Dollar Insurance Policy on my life, which I carry in the Mutual Life Insurance Co. of New York, whom collected by my executors, be applyed as a payment on the said debt in favor of ROBERTSON & HAMLETT, in the event my wife and Executors are unable to pay the balance of said debt in favor of ROBERTSON & HAMLETT for which they hold a deed of Trust on my realstate, I hereby direct and empower my Executors to sell as much of my realstate as will be of value sufficient and no more to satisfy said debt in favor of ROBERTSON & HAMLETT or whatever balance there may remain unpaid on said debt, and make a Deed to the purchaser thereof. Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint my wife EDNA A. TUCKER, and my father A. J. TUCKER, SR. and my brother J. F. TUCKER my Executors, and hereby expressly release them from making bond, and also expressly release my Executors from making any settlement with the Court, but leave the management of my property wholly with my Executors, in the event my wife should marry again, then her Executorship, shall cease, and said A. J. TUCKER, SR. and J. F. TUCKER, are hereby directed to Administer said Executorship, as above directed.
