The Will of LUKE TATUM (Decd) - Probated the 3" Monday in May 1903.

I LUKE TATUM do make and publish this as my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other Wills by me at any time made.

First: I direct that my funeral expences and all my lawful debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor.

Second: I give and bequeath to my Wife L. J. TATUM one eighth of all my real and personal estate, the balance of my real and personal property to be equally divided among my children: Namely: L. A. TATUM, H. J. DODD, SAMUEL TATUM, J. W. TATUM, M. J. TATUM, ALPHA ALMEADY EZELL, TOBIS BOOKER TATUM.

Thirdly: It is my will as my Elder son DENNIS TATUM has received his portion from me: that he is to have out of my personal and real estate that he be forever debarred from any other portion real or personal estate:

Fourth: It is my will that all the above real and personal estate bequeathed to my wife L. J. TATUM at her death be equally divided among the above named children:

Lastly: I do hereby nominate and appoint SAMUEL TATUM my Executor, in witness whereof I do to this my Will and Testament set my hand and seal this the 21st day of April A.D. 1898. acknowledged and published in our presence and we have subscribed our names here in the presence of the testator.
