Will of J. W. Porter - Dated 10 Feb 1926

I, J. W. PORTER, of Crockett county, Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do hereby make, declare and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former instruments of like kind and character by me at any time heretofore made.

FIRST. I order and direct that my executors hereinafter named, shall pay all my just debts and obligations as soon after my decease as conveniently may be done.

SECOND. I give and devise unto my son, C. O. PORTER, a one third interest in all of my real estate wherever found or situated.

THIRD. I give and devise unto my son, IRA PORTER, a one-third interest in all of my real estate wherever found or situated.

FOURTH. I give and devise a one-fifteenth undivided interest each unto my grand children, E. Z. COX, BESSIE COX, EARNEST COX, EARL COX and PORTER COX; if either of them should die before they attain legal age, their interest shall go to the brothers and sisters living the interest given my respective grand children as above set out is the one third interest that would have gone to their mother, my deceased daughter, IDA COX.

FIFTH. I will and bequeath all of the personal property I may die possessed of shall be divided as follows: one third to C. O. COX, one third to IRA PORTER, and one third to be divided equally between my grand children, E. Z. COX, BESSIE COX, EARNEST COX, EARL COX, and PORTER COX.

SIXTH. I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint C. O. PORTER, IRA PORTER and W. A. COX as executors to this my last will and testament, and hereby nominate, constitute and appoint W. A. COX as the testamentary guardian of the minor children of my deceased daughter, IDA COX, herein named. This instrument is executed in two pages.
