ISAAC A. NUNN - Will - Probated November Term 1883 Minute Book "C" Page 707 I, ISAAC A. NUNN being of sound mind, do make and publish this my last will and testament... Mentions: To my wife MARY E. NUNN all of my household and kitchen furniture except my Piano Guitah (?) Library and Book case... I give her my horse buggy & harness, one waggon & harness, two other horses or mules as she may choose, all of my farming tools except Reaper mower and Hay Rake. I give her all of my hogs and sheep, cows and calves, one thousand dollars in money and corn sugar coffee & molasses enough for one year. I also lend her during her life the tract of land upon which I now live containing two hundred acres, it being the tract of land purchased of J. G. FLEMING by me. To son DAVID A. NUNN two hundred and fifty dollars having heretofore given him thirty two hundred and fifty dollars in money... also my interest in a tract of land purchased by us from the estate of THOMAS ELMORE deceased... also my interest in one half of a tract of land in the 10th civil district owned by E. B. LUCAS and myself deeded to us by JAMES POWLING adjoining the lands of VAUGHN and PERRY. To daughter ELIZABETH A. TIGRETT my Piano. I also give her during her life free from the debts or contracts of her husband and to her children at her death... a tract of land in the 13 Civil District of Crockett County... bounded by M. P. G. FARMER... containing about three hundred and eighty acres... also my 1/2 interest in a tract of land owned by my son D. H. Nunn and myself in the 13th civil district, purchased by us of HERRON CONNOR. To my daughter MARTHA A. NUNN, free from debts or contracts of her husband (should she ever marry) my Guitah (?), all my books except my medical books... my book case and my mother and fathers pictures... also a tract of land in the 13 civil district of Crockett County... description of land contains the following names: J. H. NUNN, J. H. FARMER, H. E. FARMER, containing about three hundred and seventy four acres... also the tract of land known as the WHITE place deeded to me by J. P. PARKER com (?) for F. BUCK containing about one hundred acres. To son JOSHUA H. NUNN my compass and chain, my reaper mower and hay raker and a tract of land in the 10th civil district of Crockett County... description of land goes to the south east corner of a tract of land purchased of HENRY BUCK... containing three hundred and forty three acres... also another tract of land... also the sixty eight acre tract of land deeded to me by T. F. CONYERS in the 10th civil district bounded by FOSTER, and CONYERS. To son WILLIAM T. NUNN my watch and guns and medical books... also a tract of land in the 13th civil district of Crockett Co... description of land mentions land purchased by me of THOS. OWEN... containing seventy nine acres... also another tract of land purchased at Sheriff's sale by me sold as the property of T. L. SINGLETON containing about sixty or sixty five acres, bounded by MRS. CHERRY and M. P. G. FARMER... also my interest in the house and lot in the village of Friendship owned by E. B. LUCAS and myself... also the tract of land purchased by me at Chancery Sale known as the WILLIAM ELMORE tract containing about sixty acres in the 10th civil district of Crockett Co. To my son HUGH NUNN my Photograph... the three hundred acre tract except the one acre including the family grave yard, of land lying in the 8th civil district of Crockett Co., purchased of my brother DAVID A. NUNN by me, given to him by my father DAVID NUNN, bounded by MRS. MAYS, ISAAC KOONCE, J. A. POWELL and, DAVID A NUNN... also at my wife's death the two hundred acres tract I now reside on... also two hundred dollars... also a small tract of land about forty five acres in the 10th civil district of Crockett Co. purchased by me of G. W. FLOYD. I give to my children jointly for a burying ground the one acre excepted in the tract of three hundred acres given to HUGH NUNN, bounded by SMITH. Executors: My sons DAVID A. Since the foregoing will was written I have sold the forty five acre tract of land in the tenth civil district given to HUGH NUNN. I therefore in its stead give him five hundred dollars. This December 26th 1882. I give to D. A. NUNN the piece of land I bought from him [this addition wasn't dated, but was possibly added at the same time as the above note]
