L. D. Mitchell Will Probated October Term 1881 Minute Book C Page 288 I L. D. MITCHELL forever of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee make this my last will. Item first � I will that all my just debts be paid. Item second I will devise and bequeath to each of my daughters REBECCA J. and MARGRETT E. five dollars in money. Item third I will devise and bequeath all my estate real and personal except the sums above to my son C. K. MITCHELL after the death of both myself and wife and not before and he shall take care of my said wife if I die first and see that she is provided for and decently burried when she dies. Item forth It is my will that after my death my said wife shall have for the purpose of supporting and maintaining her the use of my said property until her death under the guidance and supervisions of my said son. Item fifth � I nominate and appoint my said son C. K. MITCHELL Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my will at my residence in district number four in the state of Tennessee Crockett County on the 6th day of June 1881.
