I, M. W. MEDLIN of Crockett County, Tennessee, realizing the certainty of death, and in view of the fact that I am well advanced in years, I desire to designate the disposition of all of my property, real and personal, and make this my last will and testament.

My family consists of my beloved wife DILLIE ANN MEDLIN; one son, D. H. MEDLIN and five daughters, MINNIE HENDERSON, GENEVA HENDERSON, ANNIE RICHARDS, ERNEST EMISON and TINEY RICHARDS, all of whom are now living.

I desire that my beloved wife DILLIE ANN MEDLIN shall have exclusive use and control and disposition of all my personal property including money, notes, cattle, hogs, etc. as she shall see fit and proper. Should she die possessed of any of said property I desire that it shall be equally divided among my children. Should my wife die before I do it is my wish that my children share equally in all of my personalty after the payment of my just debts.

I desire that my beloved wife DILLIE ANN MEDLIN shall have a life estate in all of my real estate and at her death to be equally divided between my children.

Should she die before I do then my children shall share equally in all of my real estate at my death.

In event of the death of any or all of my children then the child or children of such one or ones shall take the share of the parent. Should any child of mine die before I die I desire the child or children of that parent to receive the part my child would have received if living.

I desire that immediately after my death all of my just debts shall be paid by my executor. I want my only son D. H. MEDLIN to be the executor of this my last will and testament and without bonds.

I execute this my will by my signature on this the 15th. day of October 1914. the same having been read over to me and also having been read by me and signed in the presence of J. Q. CRAIG and W. E. PITNER and G. C. SHERROD.
