Will of THOMAS M. McGEE Probated Nov. Term 1895 Minute Book F Page 444 Know all men by these presents that I, THOS. M. McGEE of the of Crockett and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make and publish the following as my last Will and testament... First of all, I direct that my Executor.. pay off, and fully discharge all my... legal debts Second, I direct that my wife SARAH ANN McGEE should she out live me be and remain in possion of all of my estate both real and personal to use and enjoy during her natural life. Third, I give and bequeath to son JAMES A. McGEE on the death of his mother - the tract of land where on we now reside consisting of about 48 acres bounded on the North by public road and MRS. HENDERSON, South by ROBERTSON, East by KING and West by HARMAN... because of his good attention to his father and mother in their old age, for caring for them and protecting them under all circumstances, and the probabilities are that he will continue so to do as long as we live. Fourth, I direct however, that if my said son JAMES A. McGEE should marry as I now expect him to do, and he should die before me or his mother then and in that case, I would want the land divided among my children equally, giving his said wife and equal share with my other children. Fifth, I direct that all of my personal property if any remains after the death of my said wife to be equally divided between my said children Viz. JOHN M., MARTHA A. CRUTCHFIELD, WILLIAM T., CHARLEY L. and LAVINIA T. DIXON' decendants and THOMAS B. McGEE and the children of ALICE ADA PEARSON, ROBERT A. McGEE and JAMES A. McGEE share and share alike for my said children or their representatives. Sixth, I nominate as my executor... my son WILLIAM T. McGEE... October 27th 1894 THOMAS M. (X) McGEE
