J. A. LEWIS Will Probated September 1st 1920 Minute Book 10 page __ I, J. A. LEWIS, of Crockett County Tennessee, 10th Civil District of same County, do make this my last Will and Testament, I being of sound mind, give to my son JOHN W. LEWIS, all of my lands or Real Estate consisting of 50 Acres, where I now live, lying and being in the 10th Civil District of said County of Crockett, Butted and bounded as follows; to wit; North by J. W. LEWIS and Public Road East by SUTTON South and West by DR. J. R. CONYERS, containing 50 more or less. And all of my personal property of every description, consisting of all stock of every kind, Plows, harrows and cultivators and every thing, except one mail box and one call bell, this I give to my daughter MARTHA JACOX. This is to further certify that I, J. A. LEWIS am now living with my son JOHN LEWIS and will continue to live with him until my death, My mother and father remaining with me and I, J. W. LEWIS to keep them until death of both. I also give to my daughter MARTHA JACOX one eight day clock, and property left at Martha's. This March 31st 1916 J. A. (X) LEWIS
Witnesses: Whereas my father deceased Feb 26th 1917 and my mother on deceased on Feb 1st 1920 I will now state that I have completed my contract to take care of them the balance of their lives, and this will stand unchanged. This Feb 2nd 1920 J. W. LEWIS |
