In the name of God amen

          I Eve E Klyce of the County of
Haywood and State of Tennessee being of feeble
health, but of sound disposing mind and memory
Considering the uncertaintity of life and being desir
ous of arranging my worldly affairs before my death
do make ordain and publish this my last will
and Testament

          First I desire that my body be buried
by the side of my husband in a plain but decent
manner

Secondly I desire that my funeral expenses and all
my just debts be paid as soon as possible out of
the first money that may come to the hands of
the person that shall have the management of my
property

Thirdly I will and bequeath to my Grand daughter
Eve Eliza Griffin my Bed and all Bed Clothing,
and Bed stead, and the little Trunk and
f----- B----- and Blanket

Fourthly I will and bequeath to my Grand daughter
Mary E Griffin large Black Trunk
Fifthly I will and bequeath to my daughter
XXXXXX                 Elizabeth Griffin all the residue
of my property- In testimony the said Eve E. Klyce
hath hereunto set her hand and affixed my seal on
one sheet of paper February 2d 1854
