Will of William Jennings - Dated 11 Aug 1903

Know all men by these presents that I WILLIAM JENINGS of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee, Considering the uncertainty of this life and being of sound mind and memory do make... this my last Will and Testament...

1st. I give to only living Brother JOHN B. JENINGS his old home place Containing One hundred and Eighty seven acres more or less... and at his death to go to his four sons & one daughter, namely W. R. JENINGS, J. T. JENINGS, A. C. JENINGS, O. H. JENINGS & RUBY JENINGS. For the services of the old cook LIZZIE MIDYETT I give her one tract of land, bounded... by ELLICK MIDYETT... and HENRY MOODY... Containing Forty acres more or less and also give her the privilige of getting wood and timber on adjoining land on the South... to have and to hold as her own her lifetime and at her death to revert back to W. R. JENINGS, J. T. JENINGS, A. C. JENINGS, O. H. JENINGS & RUBY JENINGS.

3rd. (no 2nd) The remainder of my land I want equally divided between W. R. JENINGS, J. T. JENINGS, A. C. JENINGS, O. H. JENINGS & RUBY JENINGS.

4th. I want all my personal property consisting of live stock, Implements, house-hold & kitchen furniture, Notes, due bills, accounts, Bank stock to be sold and collected and equally divided after my burial & other expenses are settled, between GRACY JENINGS, daughter of R. W. JENINGS, W. R. JENINGS, J. T. JENINGS, A. C. JENINGS, O. H. JENINGS & RUBY JENINGS. If any money found on hand to be divided equally between... (same people)

5th. I do nominate and appoint my nephew AUTHOR C. JENINGS to be the sole Executor to this my last Will and testament.. This the eleventh day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand nine hundred and three.
