This will was probated in Crockett Co., TN, but obviously filed in Gibson Co., before part of that County became Crockett Co.
William Hendricks I WILLIAM HENDRICK of the County of Gibson and State of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory, do this twenty second day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty, make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following: First I give and bequeath to ARON SANDERS his heirs and assigns forever the forty two acres and one half of an acre of land that was conveyed to me by G. B. H. COOP it being the same on which he the said ARON SANDERS now resides. Second I give and bequeath to my Brother JOEL HUMPHREY HENDRICK his heirs and assigns forever all the right title and interest that I have in the land that belongs to the Estate of my Father JOHN HENDRICK decd. Third I give and bequeath to my beloved wife RACHEL HENDRICK her heirs and assigns forever, the tract of land on which I now reside containing ninety seven acres and one half of an acre and I also give to my wife RACHEL HENDRICK and her heirs forever all the remainder of my property not already above devised.
And I hereby make appoint and ordain my wife RACHEL HENDRICK Executrix of this my last will and testament, in witness whereof I the said WILLIAM HENDRICK have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written Viz on the 22nd day of October. AD 1860
