Will of E. Farrow - Dated 4 June 1904
E. Farrows Last Will & Testament Probated July 18" 1904. M.B. Pg. 431. Know all men by these presents that I, E. FARROW of the county of Crockett State of Tennessee being of sound mind and memory do make and ordaine this to be my last will and testament. First: - I order and direct my Executors herein after mentioned to pay off and discharge all dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease. Second: - I bequeath to my wife CAROLINE all household goods and kitchen utensils with the execption of two beds and bed clothing - one of which is to be given to my son EDGAR, and the other to my daughter LUDIE. I also bequeath to my wife CAROLINE one black cow and calf, and one half of hogs on farm. Third: - I bequeath to my daughter LUDIE one Yellow muly cow and one half of the hogs now on farm: also one mare called "Mattie" and one buggy. Fourth: I order and direct my Executors to divide the remainder of my estate both personal property and real estate among my four sons JOHN F., I. ROBERT, D. EDGAR and THOMAS J. and my four daughters MARTHA GRAVES, LUDIE FARROW, ALISE DANIEL and KATE REAMES, and my wife CAROLINE FARROW. My wife sons and daughters each sharing equally with the others: - Each son and daughter being first charged with the amount D he or she is due me by note or account: - This division not to be made until the crop now growing on the farm shall have been harvested so that its value may be properly estimated and made a part of the estate. Fifth: I hereby appoint my sons JOHN F. and D. EDGAR to be my executor who shall serve as such without bond.
In testimony hereof I hereunto subscribe my name this the twenty fourth day of June 1904.
