Will of MRS. MATTIE CORNATZER Probated Nov. 27th 1923 Minute Book 10 Page 711 Last Will and Testament of MRS. MATTIE CORNATZER I, MRS. MATTIE CORNATZER, do make and publish this as my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all wills heretofore made. 1st; I direct that my executor pay all just indebtedness that I owe, if there be any, as soon after my death as possible. 2nd; I direct that ($200.00) Two Hundred Dollars be placed in some reliable bank on time deposit to the credit of GEORGE FAYETTE HENDERSON to remain until he is twenty one years of age at which time interest and principal shall be turned over to him. In the event of his death previous to his reaching the age of twenty one years the amount deposited and the interest accrued upon until his death shall be distributed equally among my lawful heirs. 3rd; I direct that ($200.00) Two Hundred Dollars be placed in some good reliable bank drawing time deposit and that yearly my executor shall draw out ($25.00) Twenty Five Dollars, until principal and interst are exhausted, applying said Twenty Five Dollars as an annual donation for the support of a Minister of the Christian Church at Bells, Tenn. 4th; I direct that if any of my heirs shall owe me any amount at my death, that amount shall be deducted by my executor in distributing my estate to that heir; 5th; I direct that son-in law CHAS. C. HENDERSON be the executor of this my last will and testament and to act in such capacity without bond. 6th; I direct that after all of the foregoing terms have been complied with, the remainder of all my estate both personal and real be equally divided among my four heirs, ANNIE L. ROOKER, PEARL HENDERSON, HIRAM G. CORNATZER and CHAS. EARNEST CORNATZER. 7th; I direct that in event of the death of any of the foregoing heirs prior to my death that the heirs of such an one received the legacy of his or her parent. I do make, constitute and sign this will in the presents of W. E. PITTNER and B. B. BARNES on this the 25th day of March 1913. MATTIE CORNATZER
Witnesses: After having made and signed the foregoing will it is my desire that the portion of my will marked "2nd" be stricken out. It is not my will now that the aforesaid Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) made as a separate gift to GEORGE FAYETTE HENDERSON shall be a part of my will and I hereby revoke and annul the aforesaid 2nd clause. I make and sign this codicil to my will mentioned above and attach same on this the 11th day of August 1913. MATTIE CORNATZER
