Will of R. D. Cook - Dated 28 Feb 1895

I, R. D. COOK of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee, do hereby make and publish this my last Will and Testament, making void all other Wills by me at any time made.

1st My will is that all the debts that I may be owing at the time of my death shall be paid out of any moneys that may come into the hands of my Executor.

2nd I give to beloved wife ELIZABETH COOK all the property real and personal that I may own at the time of my death to be absolutely hers (subject only to my individual debts) during her life.

3rd I give after my wife's death the tract of land on which I now live, it being all my real estate, to my three children, ROBERT, TILDEN and TENNY COOK share and share alike.

4th My will is that after my wifes death all my personal property of every description shall belong to my daughter TENNY COOK.

5th I give to the children of my decd. Son JOSEPH COOK the sum of one Dollar.

6th It is my Will if at any time a majority of my three children to whom I have given my land should wish to sell the same, they shall be permitted to do so either publicly or privately as they may wish and divide the proceeds equally between them.

7th Lastly I hereby appoint my daughter TENNY COOK to be my Executrix to execute this my last Will and Testament as herein specified, and having full confidence in her ability & honesty, She is hereby released from giving any bond.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto assigned my name. This Feb. the 28th 1895.
