I ANNA COMPTON wife of J. W. COMPTON of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee being very feeble in body but sound in mind do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking any and all other wills heretofore made by me.

First I desire my funeral expences paid and a Tombstone suitable to be placed at my grave and also one at the grave of my little girl ETNA MAY as soon as my husband can sell personal property that he may select sufficient to pay for the same.

Second I give and it is my will that CLAYTON POWELL BARNEY POWELL and JOSIE POWELL have ten dollars each to be paid by my husband J. W. COMPTON when he can sell enough personal property to pay said sums.

Third All of the remaining personal property I desire and it is my will that my husband J. W. COMPTON have and take absolutely.

Fourth I give & will to my husband JOHN W. COMPTON my entire real property that is all my land I received from my Father J. B. POWELL during my said husbands life and at his death then to my surviving brothers or sister or their children.

I appoint my husband J. W. COMPTON my Executor and do not desire he be required to give bond. This Jan 1st 1886.
