T. F. CATES Last Will - Probated May 8th 1919 Minute Book 10, Page __ I, T. F. CATES do make and publish this my last will and testament... Mentions: To my daughters GLENN RANDOLF and MYRTLE CATES, I give... about thirty-two acres off of the west end of my farm... GLENN is to have the north half, and MYRTLE the south half. To my son BROODIE CATES, I give... 16 acres imediately east of the 32 acres given to GLENN and MYRTLE. To my son TOLLIE CATES I give... about 16 acres of my said home place. To my beloved wife ELLA CATES the remainder of my said home tract, and at her death to my two youngest children FAY and OLIVE EVE CATES share and share alike. But it is expressly stated that my said wife is to have the rents and profite of the entire farm for the year 1919. Also to my wife, Twenty Two hundred dollars ($2200.00) to be by her used for the following purposes: One thousand dollars to be invested in a house and lot in Alamo, which will decend to our two daughter, FAY and OLIVE EVE. Twelve hundred dollares to be used by my wife for the education of said two daughters, FAY and OLIVE EVE. Also, all of my personal estate not heretofore disposed of. To my daughter MATTIE MOORE, I give the proceeds of a life insurance policy which I am carrying on my life in the Mutual Life and Benefit Insurance Company, Also one U.S. Government Bond of the denomination of one hundred dollars.
