Will of D. W. CATES - Probated July 10, 1934 Know all men by these presents, that I , D. W. CATES being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void any and all wills heretofore made by me. 1st: - I desire my executor who I shall hereafter name to pay all my just debts including funeral expenses. 2: - I will and bequeath to my wife MRS. DORA CATES all the real estate I may have at my death so long as she is my widow, if she should marry again all of said real estate to revert back to my children to be equally divided between them. 3: - I give and bequeath to my wife MRS. DORA CATES one life insurance policy made to my estate calling for the sum of one thousand dollars the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. of Newark, New Jersy, policy No. 312150. 4: - I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY CATES a policy that I have in the Woodman of the World calling for one thousand dollars provided she is not married before my death. 5th: - I give and bequeath to my wife all of the personal property that I may have at the time of my death. 6th: - I hereby appoint my wife MRS. DORA CATES and my son HERBERT CATES my executors of this will and testament and having all confidence in them I desire that they be not required to give bond as such executors. I further appoint my wife MRS. DORA CATES and my son HERBERT CATES as guardians for my son LOYD and my daughter ALLIE SUE CATES as they have a policy made to them and I wish that they may use this money to the best advantage of these two children to spend the money as they see best for them.
