Probated April Term 1903

I, R. C. BRIDGER of the County of Crockett State of Tennessee do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament...

First: I desire that my executor hereinafter named provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends, pay all funeral expenses...

Second: I give to my beloved wife E. A. BRIDGER the lands bounded as follows: 1st Lot begins at the N.E. corner of lot of land I heretofore gave to my daughter SALLIE BRIDGER... E. boundary by YOUNG orchard fence... land I bought from Estate of E. J. READ deceased, Thence East with said line of A. W. HAWKES... to containe 25 or 30 acres upon which is situated my dwelling house, Barnes, Stables, Cribs and other out buildings and one tenant house. Second - Lot I give her all cleared land about 12 acres of lot of land bought be me from estate of E. J. READ... I also give her one horse (her choice) One Cow & Calf (her choice) one sow and pigs or shoats, and pork hogs for one years supply of meat, all kitchen furniture Sewing Machine, 2 Beds, Bed Steads & bed clothes, Lounge & contents, 12 chairs, including Rocking chair, One large fall leafe table, One Bureau Press, Towels & Table linen, Dining table Queensware, Knives & Forkes, Two Sets fire dogs, Smoothing irons, Fire shovels, Poker &c;, and such Books as she may desire to keep also one Top Buggy with Harness, Twenty (20) Brls corn 2500. lbs. Hay, also Sugar, Coffee, Fruit & preserves on hand, Lard on hand 1 Lard Stand Fruit cans & crockery. I also give her one hundred ($100.) Dollars in cash to be paid by my Executor out of any money that may come into his hands.

3d. I desire that the line runing East and West between my present tract of land and lot heretofore given by me to my Son A. R. BRIDGER, shall be extended East until it strickes the West boundary line of lot I gave to my daughter SALLIE. And I give to my son JOHN B. BRIDGER the land South of said line...

4th My will and desire is that all my real estate not herein disposed of and land herein given to my wife at her death and all personal property not herein disposed of shall be and I give the same to my two children to wit: A. R. BRIDGER and SALLIE BRIDGER. Share and share alike. The real estate to be theirs during their natural lives, and then to their children. I have given to my son HARDY BRIDGER one tract of land which I consider his share...

5th And lastly I hereby appoint my son A. R. BRIDGER to be my Executor...

In testimony where of I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this 15th day of November 1903.
