William Royals Yearwood Obituary

W. R. Yearwood--W. R. Yearwood died Friday afternoon at 1:15 at his home in Alamo after a long illness. He was 76 years of age and a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Yearwood was a funeral director in Alamo for a long time, retiring several years ago when he sold to Evans & Lasiter. He was a native of this county and a member of one of the pioneer families. A number of relatives and friends survive beside his daughter, Mrs. R. B. Cheatham of Alamo and a sister, Mrs. Billie Faircloth of Jonesboro, Ark. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Alamo with E. V. Boone, local minister officiating. Burial was in Belleview Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge.
