The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, September 25, 1947 Sam Houston Wyatt Services for Sam Houston Wyatt who died at Baird-Brewer Hospital Friday night were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. W. C. Skinner officiated. Burial in Sudbury Cemetery, under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Mr. Wyatt was 62. Born in Decatur County, he was a farmer and for the past two years had been the janitor of Friendship schools and a favorite with all the pupils. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Essie Holland Wyatt; three sons, Frank Wyatt of Friendship, Herman Wyatt of Halls, James Wyatt of Jonesboro, Ark.; six daughters, Mrs. Luther Coble of Jonesboro, Ark., Mrs. Sebren Curtis of Friendship, Mrs. Bradley Britton of New Orleans, Mrs. James McGlothin of Friendship, Mrs. Claud Thompson of Friendship and Martha Marie Wyatt of Friendship; a brother, Acklee Wyatt of Decaturville; one sister, Mrs. Betty Daniels of Curve and two grand children. |
