CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 32 THURSDAY DECEMBER 1, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE FUNERAL--Services were held Sunday at the Midway Baptist Church for William Alexander WOODS, who died at his home near Bells, burial in Calhum Cemetery. He was born in Crockett County January 14, 1874. He leaves four brothers, E. R., J. B., J. P., and A. C. WOODS, all of Bells.
CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL MIDWAY--Mr. Will WOOD passed away November 26th at the home of his brother, Mr. Lon WOOD. He was 75 years, 10 months and 12 days old. He had lived in this community all his life and lived alone for a number of years as he never married. His health had been poor for a long time, but the early part of this year his health became so much worse, he moved to his brother's home where they tenderly cared for him to the end. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
