The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, October 24, 1946 Mrs. Fannie Williams Services for Mrs. Fannie Williams, one of the oldest residents of Crockett County were held at 2 Sunday afternoon at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Burial in the church cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Williams, who was 93, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grover Green near Brownsville Saturday morning following a brief visit. She lived at Maury City and was a lifelong resident of Crockett County. She was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church. She leaves two sons, Ellie and Joe Williams of Maury City, and two daughters, Mrs. Emma Holomon of Maury City and Mrs. [Mary] Green. Margaret "Fannie" Hay was the daughter of John B. Hay and Margaret E. Coop. She married 10 Jan 1878 in Crockett Co. to Hensy S. Williams. |
