Times, 29 Dec 1955, Page 1: Mrs. Jimmy Wilson Services for Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Wilson, who died Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Jeff Watkins near Bells, were held at the Cypress Methodist Church at 11 Monday morning. The Rev. J.E. Sharp, pastor of the Bells Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Nelson Wade, pastor of the Cypress church. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Ronk Funeral Home. Mrs. Wilson, who was 61, was born and reared in Crockett County. She had made her home in Jackson for several years. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Stephenson, early residents of Crockett County. She was a member of the Bells Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, Jimmy D. Wilson; two sisters, Mrs. Jeff Watkins and Mrs. Nelson Hunt of Bells; four brothers, Aud Stephenson of Memphis, McKinley Stephenson of Potts Camp, Miss., and Owen Stephenson of Mason, Tenn. (Only three brothers were listed. Brother Joe also was living.) |
