The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 27, 1947 Whitfield Williams Services for Whitfield Williams of 995 Keppel Place, salesman for D. Canale & Co. for nearly 14 years and widely known in trade circles, will be held at one tomorrow afternoon at National Funeral Home. Dr. Robert G. Lee will officiate and burial will be at Brownsville, Tenn. He was 63. Mr. Williams died at John Gaston Hospital at 9:25 yesterday morning. He was born at Brownsville and had lived most of his life in Memphis. His wife is Mrs. Gloria Williams, member of the admission office staff at John Gaston Hospital. He also leaves a son, James Nelson Williams, and a daughter, Miss Norma Jeanette Williams, both of Memphis, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Hawks and Miss Jennie Williams, both of Bells, Tenn.
