The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 7, 1946 Mrs. Jim Warren Mrs. Virvie Ann Warren, wife of Jim Warren, died Sunday morning at her home at Cairo at the age of 74. Mrs. Warren was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Burnett, pioneer residents of Crockett County. She was a fine Christian character and numbered her friends by her acquaintances. She will be greatly missed in the Cairo community and other sections where she was well known. Mrs. Warren was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband and two sons, Clarence Warren, merchant at Cairo, and Lannie Warren of Memphis, survive her. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pond Creek Methodist Church by Rev. Frank Perry of Crockett Mills with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in Pond Creek Cemetery. |
