The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, December 18, 1947 Mrs. Mary Ellen Warren Services were held Monday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Alamo for Mrs. Mary Ellen Warren, who died at her home in Alamo Sunday. The Rev. J. P. Irion and Rev. E. V. Underhill officiated. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Ronk Funeral Home. Mrs. Warren was 80. She leaves two sons, Sam Warren and Ezra Warren of Alamo; four daughters, Mrs. Barney Robins of Alamo, Mrs. Joe Reece of Crockett Mills, Mrs. Finis Agee of Humboldt and Mrs. Walter Wooley of Memphis. Also several grand children and great grand children survive. Mrs. Warren was born and reared in Crockett County and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was the widow of the late Tom Warren, mail carrier in Alamo for many years. |
