Pvt. James Edward Warmath--Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Friendship for Pvt. James Edward Warmath. Rev. C. O. Frey officiated. Burial was in Sudbury Cemetery with Sudbury Funeral Home in charge. Pvt. Warmath was killed in combat in France September 17, 1944, while serving with Patton's 3rd Army, 5th Division, 10th Inf. Co. L. The body arrived in Friendship Wednesday a.m. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Warmath of Friendship; one sister, Mrs. J. O. Richardson, Jr., of Fowlkes; three brothers, Grady M. Warmath of 391 East Trigg, Memphis; Raymond and Herbert Warmath of Friendship.
