The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, August 28, 1947 Mrs. Cordie Ward Services for Mrs. Cordie Ward were held at the Baptist Church at Cairo, Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 19 at 3 o'clock. She was 62 years of age and was a native of Crockett County. For the past fourteen years she had made her home in Nashville and was living there at the time of her death. She leaves three children, Miss Florence Ward of Nashville, Mrs. L. B. Moore, Memphis and J. W. Ward of Alamo; three grand children, five brothers and one sister. Cosmopolitan Funeral Home of Nashville in charge. |
