The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, September 5, 1946 Millard M. Vickers Millard McCall Vickers, 36, former citizen of the Friendship community, died Monday at his home in Memphis. He is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Beaver; his father, Joe Vickers of Friendship; the following children, Joe Herman, Patsy, Jerry and Sue Carolyn Vickers, all of Memphis; one brother, Wade Vickers of Friendship; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Freeman of Halls and Mrs. John Troupe of Kansas City, Kan. Funeral services were held at the National Funeral Home in Memphis Wednesday morning and a brief service in Friendship Wednesday afternoon. Burial in Sudbury Cemetery. |
