CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 3 THURSDAY AUGUST 25, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH--Services for James Elmer Vandyke, 69 , who died at his home in the Nance community on August 17th were held at Pond Creek Methodist Church Sunday p. m., burial in church cemetery. He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joe VANDYKE. He leaves one son, Clarance VANDYKE, Sr., of Stockton, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Lorene ROBERTSON, of Nance community; two brothers, Willie VANDYKE of Alamo and Ceph VANDYKE, of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Irene HITER of Jackson, Mrs. Henry COOK of Alamo, and Mrs. Mary WHEELER, of near Alamo. |
