Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, September 26, 1873 Died, At his home near Bells Depot, on the 16th inst., Rev. Geo. E. Thomas; aged 67 years. Deceased was eminently a good man, an eminent minister of the gospel and dearly beloved not only by his church, but by all who knew him. For twenty-nine years he ministered to the Baptist congregation at Johnsons Grove, and is now gone to recap the rich reward of his labors. |
