The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, March 7, 1946 Mrs. Jim Thomas Mrs. Jim Thomas, 79, died Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at her home near Center Church. She was born and reared in this county and lived in the community in which she died all of her married life. She was held in high esteem and the family has the deepest sympathy of neighbors and friends. She was a member of the Center Methodist Church where services were held Monday at 11 a.m. by Rev. H. A. Butts of Memphis. Surviving are her husband and five sons, B. E. Thomas of near Alamo, Atha Thomas, Elbridge, Ewell Thomas and Harlan Thomas of Alamo and William Thomas of Pontiac, Mich. Also ten grandchildren. Mrs. Thomas was injured by a fall several weeks ago. Evans & Lasiter Funeral Home in charge.
