The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, February 13, 1947 Jim Teague Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Baptist Church in Fowlkes for Jim Teague, who died at his home Monday night after an illness of several days. The Rev. Chadwick and the Rev. Evans officiated. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with Thompson Funeral Home in Friendship in charge. He was 66. Mr. Teague was born in Crockett County and belonged to the Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lula James Teague; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Carroll and one grand son, William Wayne Lineberry of South Dyersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Lewis of Unionville, Mrs. Zera Roberts of Caruthersville, Mo., and one brother, Will Nails of Caruthersville, Mo. |
