The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, April 17, 1947 Mrs. Emma Taylor Mrs. Emma Taylor, 70, passed away Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Tom Crabtree. The funeral service was held Friday afternoon at the First Christian Church by the pastor, Rev. E. B. Motley and was attended by a large number of friends and relatives. She was laid to rest in Belleview Cemetery with Goosmann Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Taylor is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Crabtree and Mrs. Madison Gregory, two sons, Messrs Floyd and Clarence of Dyersburg, twenty six grand children and four great grand children. Emma Lovett was the daughter of Newton Jasper Lovett & Mary Abby Wood. She married 25 Dec 1892 in Crockett Co. to William J. Taylor. |
