Crockett County Sentinel Alamo, Tennessee Friday, October 10, 1873 Died, Near this place, on the 3rd inst., in the 77th year of his age, Dennis Tatum, Esq. Deceased was born in Newkirk county, N. C., and moved to Tennessee in 1837. For about twenty-two years he was a Justice of the Peace for Gibson and this county, and for nearly twenty years a deacon in the Primitive Baptist Church. He was highly esteemed and respected by his neighbors and acquaintances, and his death is deeply mourned. |
