The Crockett Times Alamo, Tennessee Thursday, February 12, 1948 Vol. 15, No. 50 Rites for Jackson Contractor Will be Held Today Jackson, Tenn., Feb 8 - Services for Thomas E. Tatum, retired building contractor who died Sunday afternoon at Webb-Williamson Hospital here, will be held at Central Church of Christ at 2:30 Monday afternoon, Norman L. Vaughn, minister of the Central Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery under direction of Griffin Funeral Home. He was 79. Mr. Tatum was born and reared in Crockett County. He came to Jackson from Memphis 38 years ago. He was well known in contracting circles. He was an elder in the Central Church of Christ. He leaves his wife, three daughters, Mrs. J. G. Long of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Verna Tatum Holley of Jackson, Tenn., and Mrs. James McDonough of Nashville, and a brother, Jesse W. Tatum of Jackson. |
