CROCKETT COUNTY SENTINEL VOLUME 77 NUMBER 3 THURSDAY JUNE 9, 1949 BELLS, TENNESSEE DEATH--Mrs. Alice STRACHN, of Alamo, died while visiting her daughter, Mrs. T. J. WATKINS in Flat River, Mo., on Wednesday, May 25th. A daughter of the late David and Lucy Nunn MAYO, she was born here on Janusry 10, 1873. She was married to Joseph D. STRACHN, who preceded her in death in 1915. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. WALKINS and Mrs. Charlie BROWN, both of Alamo; five granfchildren and one great-grand child; and one brother, William MAYO, of Alamo. Funeral services at Maury City Baptist Church, burial in Nunn Cemetery. |
