The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, October 28, 1937 Mrs. Mabel Stallings Mrs. Mabel Stallings died suddenly Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the home of her son, C. H. Stallings, in Friendship. She suffered a heart attack several days ago. Mrs. Stallings was the daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Charles Caruthers, a member of one of the pioneer families of the county. She leaves many friends in Friendship and community. Deceased was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services at the Baptist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C. B. Williams of Jackson will conduct services. Burial at Belleveronon.
