DEATH--Funeral services were held Sunday at 2: 30 p. m. at the Providence Baptist Church for J. M. SMALLWOOD, who died at his home in the Nance Community Friday, burial in Providence Cemetery. He was born in McNairy County and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was 72. He leaves one son, W. J. C. SMALLWOOD; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest PEACE and Mrs. L. A. LEWIS; three sisters, Mrs. Lee WOODS, of Alamo, Mrs. Ida WARREN, of Alamo and Mrs. B. O. GREEN, of Luxora, Ark.; one brother, Harlie SMALLWOOD, of Alamo.

MORE ON DEATH OF--J. M. SMALLWOOD. This obit states his home was near Crockett Mills, his birthday was January 19, 1876. His sisters names were Lou WOODS, and Audie GREEN (given with husband's names in other obit) daughters also. Mary W. LEWIS and Lillie Maie PEACE. Also 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
