Services for Mrs. MINNIE LEE SIMMONS, who died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. BROOKSIE RICHARD of Olive Branch, Miss., were held Saturday at Gadsden Baptist Church, burial in Young Cemetery. She was 77. She was born in Crockett County, a Memphis resident about 20 years, the widow of PINK SIMMONS. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. MARY B. MILLER and Mrs. BESSIE FLY of Memphis, Mrs. MAUD SHAW of Fruitvale and Mrs. BROOKSIE RICHARD of Olive Branch, Miss.; four sons, A. D. BLURTON and ROBERT BLURTON of Memphis, LYNN BLURTON of Trenton and WALLACE BLURTON of Fruitvale; two brothers, VERNON JONES of Jackson and Tom JONES of Boothspoint, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. OLLIE HUBBARD of Flint, Michigan; 30 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren. |
