Thursday, October 2, 1947 William Bedford Scruggs Services for William Bedford Scruggs, who died at his home near Bells, Sunday, Sept. 28, were held at the First Christian Church in Bells, Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Maury City Cemetery with Ronk Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Scruggs was born in Crockett County and was a member of the First Christian Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ruby Scruggs, two children, Martha Ann and Donald Ray, one brother, Leonard Scruggs, four sisters, Vana Harris, Mrs. Doris Redmond, Mrs. Mattie Lou Lewis and Mrs. Eula Mai Fuqua. |
