Mrs. R. G. Sanford Obituary

Bells people were shocked and saddened Monday afternoon by the sudden death of Mrs. R. G. Sanford. Her lifeless body was found by her husband when he returned home from Alamo where he teaches. Mrs. Sanford had been a shut in for several months as she had been in ill health but her friends and loved ones were shocked over her sudden death. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jimmie Patton of Arlington, Va., and a grand daughter. Mrs. Sanford's body, accompanied by Mr. Sanford was taken to Knoxville, her old home, where the funeral was held and where she was laid to rest. Goosmann Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
