The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, October 17, 1940 George Rumage Mr. George Rumage, aged 72, died Friday at his home east of Alamo of a heart attack. He was born in Williamson county, Tennessee, but had been a citizen of Crockett county nearly all of his life. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had many friends who will regret to learn of his passing. His widow, Mrs. Jennie Rumage, survives; also several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at Cross Roads Church of Christ Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Robert Lee Casey. Burial at Cross Roads. Ronk Funeral Home in charge.
