Rooks, 78, editor of the Humboldt Courier-Chronicle, died Wednesday at 4 p.m. at his home in Humboldt. Mr. Rooks was one the ablest writers in the State and his editorials were quoted far and wide. All the boys of the press will miss "Mr. Charley". |
