Enoch R. Richardson Obituary

Body of missing man is found by hunters-Enoch R. Richardson died at farm near Friendship--The body of Enoch R. Richardson, who disappeared from his one room house on the Johnny Powell farm, between Friendship and Maury City, March 25, was found by hunters about one mile west of No. 20 Highway and about two miles from his home on the A. T. Yancy farm Thursday. Several hundred men, under the direction of former Sheriff Keltner of Crockett County, searched for several days at the time of his disappearance, but failed to find a clue. The cause of his death is unknown according to Sheriff William Gaba of Crockett County. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Friendship Funeral Home. The Rev. C. O. Frey officiated. Burial was in Providence Cemetery with Friendship Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Richardson was 72. He leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Pierce of Memphis and two brothers, Eli Richardson of Dyersburg, Tenn., and Hessie Richardson of Friendship.
