It is our painful duty this week to record the death of Miss Laura RHOADES, which occurred yesterday
morning after a long lingering illness of that slow but fell destroyer, consumption. Miss Laura was one of
the most charming, winning, beautiful and accomplished young ladies of our town, just blooming into
womanhood, and her death causes a felling of sadness, sorrow, pain and regret to fill every heartin our
town and vicinity.
