The Crockett Times Alamo, Tenn. Thursday, November 13, 1947 Art P. Reams Jackson, Tenn., Nov. 8 Art P. (Jack) Reams, Illinois Central Railroad conductor, died here Friday night at the Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment. He was 61. Born and reared in Crockett County, he came to Jackson as a young man and had worked for the railroad for 40 years. He was a member of the Jackson Lodge of Elks, the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and the Order of Railroad Conductors. He leaves his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Louise Hefley of Boise, Idaho and three brothers, Hunter and G. C. Reams of Madison County and Dr. E. C. Reams of Bells. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. H. J. Burkett officiating. Burial was in Hollywood Cemetery. |
